Solomon was the son of Christian and grandson of George Peter Reedy.
Solomon Reedy was born about 1818 in Grayson County, VA. Solomon died 1889 in Volney,
Grayson County, Virginia. He married Mary "Polly" Duvall. She was born June 1828. Mary died 28 December 1902 in Volney, Grayson County, Virginia, at the age of 74. They had 13 children.

Caroline and Mitchell Reedy (on left) with two little boys. Others could Ambrose and Ann Terry Perkins Reedy with their three children; and the two little girls in the back are probably sisters of Caroline and Ambrose-- maybe the next oldest sisters who would be Sarah Ann and Emaline. A strong family resemblance is is apparent in all of this family.
