Stephen Dudley Reedy was born 9 June 1863 in Grayson County, VA. Stephen died 28 May 1915 in Grassy Creek, Grayson County, Virginia, at the age of 51, and was buried in Reedy Cemetery, Rt. 208, Grassy Creek. He married Martha "Mattie" McGrady 19 September 1887 in Ashe County, NC. She was born December 1873 in Grayson County, VA. She is the daughter of Hezekiah McGrady and Rebecca Goins.
