If you would care to chat on-line with David or Larry about the files here ,or any other related subject,it is now possible. We have downloaded a chat program that is free and very easy to use.You can find it at America Online and it is called Instant messenger. You do not have to be a member of AOL to use this program. We hope you will look into it and open up a chat dialog with us sometime. Below, I have listed several things to help you get started ,once you have downloaded it and have it installed and ready to use. I will try to tell you how to set-up & connect with me on AOL instant messenger.I will assume you have it up and running, so I will start from there. to set-up :

1) Connect to your ISP (internet service provider), then open the Instant Messenger program

2) click cursor in screen name block, type in your screen name

3) tab to password, type it in

4) check save password if you dont want to type it in each time

5) check auto-login, if you want to do that (I did not)

6) click on SignOn

7) now it should log you on to the service

8) a window will come up with 2 tabs, named online and list setup

9) click on list setup,it will show 3 folders named buddies,family and Co-workers.Click on buddies or family if you feel you are,then at the bottom click on "add buddy"

10) a highlighted box with new buddy in it will show.Type my screen name in there,then click on add buddy again.

11) Larry's screen name is lgreedy

12) David's screen name is Hawkeye DR

13) now click the online tab

14) now Family folder should show 0/1 , meaning of the 1 screen name you entered 0 of 1 are online.

15) if I should at that time have my program open and am logged on then it will show 1/1,now we will assume that I'am logged on.

16) now click on my screen name to highlite it then click on IM at the bottom of that window

17) a box will come up, for you to send a message to me

18) type my screen name in at the top if it is not already there, tab to the message box

19) type a message to me, click at the bottom on send, now you are chatting in cyberspace,WELCOME !!

20) I have used this program and it works real well,

You can also add any friends who are members of AOL to the list, and chat with them .just type their screen name into one of the folders.
